Oscar Peterson Trio - I Got Rhythm (1945-1947)
Wow! Peterson (born Aug 15, 1925)was in his very early 20s when he recorded these tracks, and he is loaded with energy & enthusiasm.
He was also dealing with the e minute time constraint of the 78 rpm record, so he crams a lot into each tune.
Even with extensive digital restoration from CEDAR, the audio quality is a bit rough. But get 20 seconds into any track and you will be swept away with Peterson's energetic performance.
